At Hols Pets, I understand that our furry friends deserve just as much care and attention as any other pet. That’s why I’m thrilled to share my latest adventure in rabbit sitting with Ronnie and Barney, two adorable bunnies who brought so much joy during our time together.
Exploring the Great Outdoors
Ronnie and Barney had an absolute blast hopping around the garden. These two adventurous bunnies were full of energy, darting through their tunnels and exploring every nook and cranny. It was such a delight to watch them dash in and out, their little noses twitching with curiosity as they explored their garden.
Treats and Playtime Galore
Keeping Ronnie and Barney entertained was a breeze, thanks to their love for munching on treats. I scattered their favourite snacks around the garden and inside their cage, turning treat time into a fun scavenger hunt. This type of scatter feeding not only kept them busy but also engaged their natural foraging instincts, ensuring they stayed mentally stimulated and happy.
Lots of Love and a Bit of Grooming
These two affectionate bunnies also enjoyed coming over for some fuss and attention. They loved being petted. However, like many rabbits, Ronnie and Barney are in the midst of moulting. I attempted to brush them to help with the shedding, but it turns out, grooming isn’t their favourite activity.
Two Very Happy Bunnies
I prioritised Ronnie and Barney’s well-being by providing fresh water, food, and regular cage cleanings to keep their space clean and comfortable. Ensuring these essentials kept them both entertained and well cared for. It was clear that these two enjoyed their time hopping around, munching on treats, and getting some love and attention. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to care for these wonderful bunnies, and I’m already looking forward to my next rabbit sitting adventure.
