Valkyrie and Gamora's Guide to Keeping Your Cat Sitter Entertained

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my years of cat sitting, it’s that every cat has its own unique personality, quirks, and little joys. Recently, I had the pleasure of looking after two feline sisters, Valkyrie and Gamora, who kept me on my toes in the most delightful way. From playtime antics to snuggle-filled evenings, these two always knew how to charm their way into my heart.

The Golden Rule: Once a Cat Sits, You Can't Move!

Any seasoned cat sitter knows there’s an unspoken rule of the job: once a cat chooses you as their nap spot, your plans for productivity or movement are immediately cancelled. Valkyrie and Gamora were masters of enforcing this rule. One of their favourite spots to cozy up was in my coat or on my lap, where I’d often find them snuggled together. They would wriggle their way, creating the perfect little cocoon of warmth and comfort.

And let’s be honest – once a cat (or in this case, two) settles in, you’re not allowed to budge. It’s like an unbreakable contract of love and trust. So, there I would be, trapped under the weight of pure fluff, and loving every second of it.

High-Tech Feeders, Tap Water Fun, and the Best Litter for a Fresh Home

Valkyrie and Gamora absolutely loved their automatic cat feeder, which released food on voice command. It was like a little game for them – they'd perk up every time they heard their owners voice command, excited for their next meal. In between feedings, they were obsessed with playing with the tap water, always pawing at the stream as if it were the most entertaining toy in the house! And when it came to keeping things tidy, I have to say Biokat's Diamond Care cat litter was the best I’ve worked with. It clumped perfectly, making it easy to sieve, and did an amazing job at keeping odours at bay, which made clean-up a breeze.

Endless Entertainment: Playtime, Stair Races, and Simple Joys

Valkyrie and Gamora made playtime an absolute delight! Whether chasing after a simple hair bobble or sprinting up and down the stairs in pure excitement, they never failed to make me laugh. When they weren’t racing around, they enjoyed sitting by the window, watching the world go by with quiet curiosity. Spending two weeks with these playful and endearing cats was such a pleasure, and their little antics always brought a smile to my face.

The Beauty of Cat Sitting

Each day with these two delightful sisters reinforced why I love cat sitting – it’s the unique personalities and joyful moments that make the job so fulfilling. If you’re in need of a dedicated and loving cat sitter for your own furry companions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be thrilled to bring the same care and enthusiasm to your pets!

Until next time, happy pet parenting.
